I don't think they tour with this specific band, but Knut plays with Paolo from time to time,

"...gerade über die Kritiken zur neuen Platte "BABOON MOON" war ich sehr dankbar. Das Echo diesbezüglich
scheint ja nahezu einhellig und durchgängig positiv zu sein. Auch ich mag die Platte sehr und empfinde sie
als den langen erwarteten großen Wurf nach "Khmer".

Parallel dazu verfolge ich auch die Platten-Kritiken des "unabhängigen" Rezensenten Michael Rüsenberg
auf seiner Seite www.jazzcity-net-edition.de.

Rüsenberg, dem man vor Jahren seine Jazz-Radiosendung beim WDR weggenommen hat, hat sich vor einiger Zeit in einem Radiobeitrag des Senders SWR2 sehr kritisch darüber geäußert, dass die Jazzkritik in Deutschland allgemein viel zu positiv und freundlich sei, womit er sicher Recht hat, wenn man die dauerhaft guten bis sehr guten Kritiken für "Allerwelts-Platten" in der einschlägigen Presse verfolgt.

Ob man dann aber so den Widerspruch und einen bis ins Gallige hinein ätzenden Tenor pflegen muss, wie
Herr Rüsenberg dies tut, dazu mit einem gelegentlichen Hang zum Oberlehrerhaften, ist fraglich.
Darüber hinaus scheint er mit den Skandinaviern im Allgemeinen eher wenig anfangen zu können oder deren Arbeit , offenbar mangels musikalischer Substanz, nicht recht schätzen zu wollen, denn ebenso wie
Nils Petter Molvaer mussten z.B. auch "e.s.t" reihenweise in seinen Kritiken Federn lassen.

"BABOON MOON", Nils Petter Molvaer´s new album, has in the first month after release entered the Mediacontrol Jazz charts in Germany at #5 – which is fantastic news taken that it was only released in the middle of the month. Thanks to all of you who went out and bought it right away! 

In the meantime it has been announced that Hungary will also release the album – we will know the exact release date in the coming days. (pps)

Jarle Bernhoft’s second solo album “Solidarity Breaks” made it to number 1 on the Norwegian album chart last week. the album has been on the list since the release this winter. Audun Erlien plays bass on one track.

His first album, “Ceramik City Chronicles” is number 21 on the same list, so Mr. Bernhoft is doing quite well these days. Next week Bernhoft will be playing Moldejazz with full band, including Audun Erlien.
